Sami is the founding director of British Home Design which she operates from her Norfolk home. She is
passionate about finding creative design solutions to unlock true potential for her clients homes, and
believes in the power of visualisations to accurately envisage how a home could be. She has invested in
state-of-the-art equipment, using cutting edge technology and software as a tool for understanding and
exploring 3D spatial design and offers Virtual Reality experiences so that clients can immerse themselves
in their future homes, allowing them to ‘try before they buy’.

Sami is passionate about making a house a home for her clients and understands first-hand how it feels
to be both architect and client after having undertaken her own home renovation which she has been
working on with her partner for the past 6 years. Renovating her Victorian property has been a labour of
love and together they have transformed the property with the ethos of delicately blending old and
new - enhancing existing character and features, whilst introducing new fittings and integrating smart
technology.

Having qualified as an architect from one of the worlds best architecture schools, the prestigious
Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL (University College London), Sami achieved her Bachelors Degree and
Masters Degree from Lincoln School of Architecture where her passion for digital design was harnessed.
She was involved in the collaborative Digital Capabilities project, winning an RHS Gold Award at the
centenary year of the Chelsea Flower Show. She believes in the importance of holistic design,
incorporating landscaping design and interior design, alongside architectural design, to consider the
multiple perspectives her clients have when living in their homes. Not only is Sami an ARB registered
architect, but she is also a Chartered member of the RIBA and an SBID registered interior designer. She is
passionate about design excellence and strives to create designs which are thoughtful, creative,
functional and beautiful.

Sami is one of the UKs most exciting architects and has been highly commended as a G4C Future Leader
at the Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards 2022, and shortlisted for the Rising Star Award at the
London Construction Awards 2022. She is determined to grow British Home Design into one of the UKs
leading architecture practices and after just 14 months of operating the company, she has proven just
how promising the company is through having achieved the Build Architecture Awards ‘Most Creative
Architecture Studio in East Anglia’ and the ‘Most Reliable Architectural Design & Planning Service in
London and Home Counties’, as well as being a London Construction Awards finalist for Architectural
Practice of the Year and Architectural Design of the Year.
